Before
booking the tour,
it is important that
you read the below
given general terms
and conditions. It
has been prepared
to safeguard the interest
of both the guest
as well as our company,
avoiding any ambiguity
in communication.
Tour Booking:
We do not book any
tour or execute
services like hotel
booking, flights,
transport etc. without
the receipt of the
advance payment
by the guest which
acts as a guarantee.
Normally the payment
structure followed
is as below:

Documents
Required:
For air/train booking
we require the passport
copies of the guest,
which can be scanned
and e-mailed to
us.
Services Status:
After making the
advance payment,
as per the time
infrastructure the
guest will be updated
about the hotel
bookings, train/flights
bookings etc (with
PNR nos. / E tickets
etc.) as desired
by the guest.
Policy Regarding
Cancellation / No
Show / Early Departure:
In case of cancellation
of the travel services
due to any avoidable/unavoidable
reason/s we must
be informed in writing.
Cancellation charges
would be effective
from the date on
which we receive
a letter in writing
from the guest providing
us the reason for
the cancellation.
The cancellation
charges would be
as follows:

In case of peak
season a separate
cancellation policy
is applicable, which
would be advised
as and when required.
After commencement
of the tour, if
the services are
cancelled by the
guests, the refund
would be restricted
to a limited amount.
This would depend
on the amount that
we would be able
to recover from
the hoteliers we
patronize. For unused
hotel accommodation,
chartered transportation
and missed meals
etc. we do not bear
any responsibility
to refund.
Flight ticket
Payment & Cancellation:
• The domestic air
fare changes on day
to day basis, so the
quoted air fare may
marginally change
at the time of booking.
(Increase / Decrease).
Once the tickets are
issued we will charge
the applicable air
fare as printed on
the e tickets.
• The guest has to
make 100% advance
payment for the air
tickets
• In case of air ticket
cancellation there
will be cancellation
charges of $ 10 per
ticket (refundable
/ non refundable)
levied by our agency.
• The refund amount
of the tickets will
be subject to the
policy of that particular
airline only.
• In case the airline
has cancelled that
particular booked
flight, the full amount
will be refunded or
the guest will be
shifted to an alternate
convenient flight.
Train ticket
Payment & Cancellation:
• The guest has to
make 100% advance
payment for the train
tickets
• Train tickets reservation
starts 90 day prior
to the date of travel.
• The cancellation
charges are subject
to the time of cancellation
and the particular
train.
Refund
• For any unused
/ unutilized services
(which are paid for
and cancelled in advance)
the refund amount
would be worked out
on the basis of cancellation
policy as described
above and the money
would be accordingly
refunded to the person
who has made the payment
to us. Please note
that the refund process
may take 2-4 weeks
due to banking procedures.
Bank charges (if any)
would be debited from
the refund amount.
Our Liabilities
& Limitations
• Meruka India
Tourism Service acts
only in the capacity
of agent for the hotels,
airlines, transporters,
railways & contractors
providing other services.
All exchange orders,
receipts, contracts
& tickets issued
by us are issued subject
to terms & conditions
under which these
services are provided
by them.
• After the
finalization of the
tour/service cost,
if there are any hikes
in the entrance fees
of monuments/museums,
taxes, fuel cost or
guide charges by the
Govt. of India, the
same would be charged
as extra.
• Our rates
are based on the prevailing
rates as negotiated
by us with the hotels,
airlines etc. Hotels
and Airlines retain
the right to modify
the rates without
notice. In case of
such changes the rates
quoted before the
modification, can
be changed by us according
to the modifications
by hotels or airlines.
All hotel bookings
are based on usual
check-in and check-out
time of the hotels
until unless indicated
in the itinerary.
• All itineraries
are intended to
give you a general
idea of the likely
trip schedule. Numerous
factors such as
weather, road conditions,
physical ability
of the participants
etc. may dictate
itinerary changes
either before the
tour or while on
the trail. We reserve
the right to change
scheduled trip and
arrangements in
context to the issue
of safety comfort
and general well
being for the beneficial
for the guest with
prior information.
• We shall not
be responsible for
any delays & alterations
in the programme due
to natural hazards,
flight cancellations,
accident, breakdown
of transport, weather,
sickness, landslides,
political closures
or any unexpected
event. However, our
agency will assist
and help the guest
to sort out any issue
at our best level.
• We shall not
be responsible for
any loss, injury
or damage to person,
property, or otherwise
in connection with
any accommodation,
transportation or
other services,
resulting - directly
or indirectly -
from any act of
GOD, dangers, fire,
accident, breakdown
in machinery or
equipment, breakdown
of transport, wars,
civil disturbances,
strikes, riots,
thefts, pilferages,
epidemics, medical
or custom department
regulations, defaults,
or any other causes
beyond our control.
• We do not
have any insurance
policy covering the
expenses for accident,
sickness, loss due
to theft, or any other
reasons. Visitors
are advised to seek
such insurance arrangements
in their home country.
All baggage &
personal property/s
at all times are at
the client's risk.
