01 Day: Arrival Kolkata:
Welcome to the mesmerizing land of India. As per your scheduled flight, our representative will met, assist and escort you to the booked hotel. All documents will be handed over to you with traveling brief and interaction for any query in terms of tour and services. Rest of the time is for leisure and overnight at the hotel.

02 Day: Kolkata:
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Kolkata. Kolkata is a city of joy, where the heritage hunters can discover a blend of old and new. The political capital of British India has now become one of the largest metropolises of the world. Visit the famous The Howrah Bridge built in 1943 - the bridge is crossed by approximately two million people everyday, High Court Building, built in 1872 and the oldest Catholic Church in Calcutta, St. Mary's. Followed by visit to the Botanical Gardens, the oldest and largest of their kinds in India; St.Paul Cathedral, Indian Museum, Kali temple of Kalighat, Birla temple, Dalhousie Square & Tagore House. Victoria Memorial: Conceived by Lord Curzon, this symbol of Calcutta was built between 1906 and 1921 at a cost of Rs. 7.5 million. It is a reminder of Queen Victoria's reign in India and has been often compared to Taj Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.

03 Day: Kolkata - Bagdogra (By Air) - Gangtok (80 kms: 4 hrs):
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport to board the flight for Bagdogra. On arrival, drive to Gangtok. Our drive through Teesta bazaar is mostly along the beautiful river Teesta till we reach a small town of Ranipool, from where we gradually climb up for 30 mins towards the capital of Sikkim. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Gangtok, Situated at an elevation of 5600 feet, the snow-capped peaks of the Kanchenjunga envelopes the town and offers spectacular view. Amidst the whipping prayer flags, brightly painted pagoda houses, hums of prayers in the background, coupled with smiling people against the beautiful scenic backdrop of the Gangtok, this truly becomes a place worth visiting. Rest of the evening is free for leisure and individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

04 Day: Gangtok:
Early morning enjoy the breathtaking morning view of the majestic Mt. Kanchendzonga and surrounding hills at Tashi view point which was built by the late King of Sikkim Sri. Tashi Namgyal. Followed by visit to Hanuman Tak and Ganesh Tak. Later after breakfast visit Chortan Stupa, Dharma Chakra Centre or Rumtek monastery the sect of the Kagyupa Sect - one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect. This sect was founded in the 11th century by Lama Marpa, the disciple of Indian Guru Naropa. Later visit Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms. Research Institute of Tibetology situated on a hilltop which was established in 1958 to promote research on Tibet and Mahayana Buddhism. Here we will see the biggest collection of Tibetan scripts and an excellent collection of rare bronze and cult objects. Followed by visit to the flower show where a variety of multi-coloured orchids, seasonal flowers as well as bonsai displayed. Overnight at the hotel.

05 Day: Gangtok:
After breakfast take an excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake - 32 kms, is cool placid water harmonies with the scenic beauty around which doubled by it's reflection in the lake. During the winter session the lake becomes frozen. You can enjoy Yak ride and Tibetans dish momo. Later drive back to the city. Followed by visit to the Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Optional tour you can drive up to Nathula, which is the Indo-Chaina border. However this visit is allowed special permit for Indian tourist only. Return to Gangtok. In the evening you can enjoy a walk at the famous Mall Road. Overnight at hotel.

06 Day: Gangtok - Darjeeling (105 kms: 4 hrs):
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Darjeeling. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Darjeeling famous for tea gardens, magnificent view of the Himalayas, Kanchenjunga peak, beautiful valleys, trekking to high altitude and famous toy train. It is a superlative combination of fern-filled valleys, snow-capped peaks and tea-scented air. Rest of the evening is free for rest and relaxation and to enjoy the local surrounding. You can take a walk down the Mall road, famous for shopping. Overnight at the hotel.

07 Day: Darjeeling:
Early morning take an excursion to Tiger hill to enjoy the breathtaking view of color changing during sunrise over snowcapped peaks of Mt. Kanchendzonga Range, which is an amazing sight. On a clear day, Mount Everest, which is around 225 km from Tiger Hills, can also be seen; however, this is a rare sight. Then return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling visiting Tibetan Self-Help Refugee Centre, Established in 1959, is a rehabilitation centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region providing home for the aged, and orphanage, school, hospital and craft workshops that produce carpets of pure ladakhi wool, woodcarving, leather work and wool items. Also visit the Japanese temple, Batasia Loop and the Ghoom Monastery which belongs to the Yellow Sect of Buddhists. Later visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute; the Mountaineering Museum contains a collection of historic mountaineering equipment, specimens of Himalayan flora and fauna and a relief model of the Himalaya. Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park. This zoo was established in 1958 with the objectives of study, conservation and preservation of Himalayan fauna. The animals are well cared for by dedicated keepers. Then proceed to visit the world famous tea gardens to watch the tea plantations. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

08 Day: Darjeeling - Bagdogra (100 kms: 4 hrs) - Kolkata (By Air) - Mumbai (By Air)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Bagdogra. On arrival, transfer to board the flight for Kolkata. On arrival transfer to board the connecting flight for Mumbai. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

09 Day: Mumbai:
After breakfast take a city tour covering Parliament House, CST, Flora Fountain. Halt at Gateway of India an architectural marvel that scores over other buildings in Mumbai. From there opt for a pleasant half an hour motor-boat ride to the vicinities of the famous Elephanta caves. A flight of 100 steps takes you to the top of the hill where it is set. This island is home to a series of seven magnificent rock cut caves which show various incidents in the life of lord Siva and other dramatic moments from Hindu mythology. These are chiselled with immense artistic finesse. Later in the afternoon cruise back to Gateway of India. After lunch (on your own), visit to Dhobi Ghat, a unique feature of Mumbai, the dhobi is a traditional laundryman, who will collect your dirty linen, wash it, and return it neatly pressed to your doorstep. Almost two hundred dhobis and their families work together in what has always been a hereditary occupation. In the evening pass by Marine Drive fondly dubbed as the Queen's Necklace, because of the dramatic curve of its streetlights at night. You may halt at Chowpatty Beach one of Mumbai's most popular promenades and a favourite sunset-watching spot. Overnight at the hotel.

Note: Elephanta Caves is closed on every Monday.

10 Day: Mumbai - Cochin (By Air):
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to airport to board the flight fo Cochin. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of Cochin (Kochi): The Gateway of South India. This lovely seaside city is flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. Cochin (Kochi) has been ruled by the Dutch, British and the Portuguese. Hence you will find here a unique mix and match of traditional as well Western architecture and lifestyle. Sightseeing tour includes visit to Fort Cochin & St. Frances Church to see the town of Vasco da Gama. We also see the Jewish Synagogue & the Mattancherry "Dutch" Palace. Also famous in Cochin (Kochi) are the Chinese fishing nets, which dominate part of the seafront and attract tourists in large numbers. These nets suspended in the mid air all along the coast and are set up on bamboo or teak poles giving an appearance of huge hammock. If you wish you may opt from a variety boat trips offered like Backwater Canal Tour, the sunset cruise, and so on. In the evening enjoy Kathakali Dance Presentation, a traditional dance form of Kerala with Lavish Costumes, Exotic makeup, Masks etc. This is considered to be the King of theater performances. Overnight at the hotel.

11 Day: Cochin (Kochi) - Munnar (130 kms: 3 hrs):
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Munnar. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. This luxuriant gift of nature to the Western Ghats, is derived from the three mountain streams; Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala which join together in Munnar. Enjoy the tea estates, hills, lakes and forests of Munnar. Visit to the Eravikulam National Park (15 km from Munnar,) This sanctuary was set up for the preservation of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. The park also shelters Atlas Moth, Elephants, Sambhar's, Gaurs, Lion-tailed Macaque, Nilgiri, Langur, Tigers and Leopards. The park is breathtakingly beautiful and is easily comparable to the best mountain ranges found anywhere in the world. After visit return to the hotel for overnight stay.

12 Day: Munnar:
After breakfast you can opt to visit to Mattupetty (cattle village), the Swiss Livestock Project is a highly specialized dairy farm where over a hundred breeds of highly yielding cattle are reared. Visitors are allowed into three of the eleven cattle sheds at the farm, followed by visit to Pothamedu is one of the major plantation hubs of Munnar. The panoramic view of greenish tea, coffee and cardamom plantation and the cloud kissing mountain is exciting one. The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and Long Mountain walks. Later visit at Devikulam (7 km from Munnar) is famous for its breath-taking locales, scenic spots and for its unique flora and fauna. Right in the heart of this landscape is Sita Devi Lake. The lake, with its picturesque surroundings, mineral water, and trout-fishing and adventure sports facilities, is a favorite tourist destination. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

13 Day: Munnar - Periyar (110 kms: 3 hrs):
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Periyar. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary one of India's biggest wildlife sanctuaries, which is an example of nature's bounty, with great scenic charm, rich bio diversity and providing veritable visitor satisfaction. Sprawled over an area of 777 sq .kms. the animals found here include Elephant, Aur, Wild Pigs, Sambar, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Dole or Indian Wild Dog and birds like Ibis and Grey Heron. A boat ride through the waters of the man made Periyar Lake around which the wild - life sanctuary is situated, offers a soul - stirring pleasant experience. Periyar is the only sanctuary in India where you can enjoy wildlife viewing at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the Lake. At Periyar you can see, herds of elephants bathing and playing on the Periyar Lake. Later in the evening take a spice plantation tour to see crops of cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. on your way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at the hotel.

14 Day: Periyar - Alleppey (114 kms: 2 ½ hrs) Backwaters tours through sailing boat to Kumarakom:
After breakfast checkout and drive for Alleppey, on arrival embark at the houseboat. The day for the journey of backwaters in the boat, through the tropical countryside enchanting backwaters of Alleppey by regattas (snake boats) for which Kerala is very famous, while sailing enjoy palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets lined up along either side of the canals are panoramic sights one can never forget. The Chinese fishing nets, the reminiscent of our past trade links, are also found on the way. Flocks of duck swimming around the banks and tiny birds flying across the sky remains as enduring pictures reflecting the charm of this tourist land, you also enjoy fishing from the houseboats, evening enjoy sunset from the sun-deck of the houseboats, moving towards Kumarakom. The Houseboats have generated electricity; sitting cum dinning area, separate bedroom with attached English toilets, sun deck and fully loaded kitchen with a Chef, and Srank (Driver). Overnight at the houseboat.

15 Day: Kumarakom - Kovalam (140 kms: 3 hrs):
After breakfast disembark from the houseboat. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and this small water world is part of the Kuttanad region. Later visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, an ornithologist's paradise is a favourite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, Egret, Darters, Bitterns, Brahminy kites, Marsh Harries, Teals and several varieties of Herons roost are found. For an inquisitive bird watcher, it is always advisable to carry their binoculars at all times. A cruise along the Vembanad Lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary. After visit drive to Kovalam. On arrival, transfer to the resort. Kovalam is a small village on the Malabar Coast along the Kerala shoreline, a sheltered bay endowed with unusual beauty. This natural bay is a safe sea-pool free from high waves and surge. Rest of the day is free for leisure at the beach. Overnight at the resort.

16 Day: Kovalam:
After breakfast, rest of the day is free for individual activities such as kayaking, swimming, surfing and skiing. You may also enjoy the herbal or body toning massage. Overnight at the resort.

17 Day: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kanyakumari - Kovalam (Excursion 90 kms: 2 hrs):
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum city, the capital of the state of Kerala is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. Visit the famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Swami Temple dedicated to Vishnu and is a landmark in the city. Then drive to Kanyakumari referred to by the British as Cape Commorin is the point of confluence of three oceans - the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Later take a sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari visiting Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi Mandapam and Vivekananda Memorial. Watching sun set from here is the big attraction, especially on the full moon day in April, when it's possible to see both the setting sun and rising moon on the same horizon. Later drive back to Kovalam for overnight stay.

18 Day: Kovalam - Trivandrum (16 kms: ½ hr) - Onwards Journey (By Air):
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Trivandrum airport to board your scheduled flight for onwards journey with happy memories of your holiday to India.
