01 Day: Arrival Bangalore:
Welcome to the mesmerizing land of India. As per your scheduled flight,
our representative will met, assist and escort you to the booked hotel.
All documents will be handed over to you with traveling brief and interaction
for any query in terms of tour and services. Rest of the time is for leisure
and overnight at the hotel.
02 Day: Bangalore:
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of the city. Bangalore is one
of the most attractive cities in India with its beautiful parks avenues
and impressive buildings. It is also known as the Silicon Valley of India.
Later take a sightseeing tour of the city visiting Lal Baugh - Regarded
as one of the most richly diverse Botanical Garden's in South Asia; it
derives its name from the profusion of Red roses which are in bloom here,
Cubbon Park - Named after Mark Cubbon, Bangalore's longest-serving commissioner,
this beautifully laid out park spreads over 300 acres in the heart of
the city. The Bull Temple - The 4.57 m high and 6.10 meters long image
is carved out of single granite rock, Tipu's Palace - The summer
palace of Tipu Sultan later followed by visit to Sri Gavi Gangadhareshwara
Temple - the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is carved out of a
monolithic stone. Iskcon Temple - located on a seven-acre hillock,
known as the 'Hare Krishna Hill', the gorgeous deities of the lord Sri
Radha Krishna and the pure spiritual atmosphere make the pilgrimage a
lasting memory. In the evening you can visit Ulsoor Lake. Overnight at
the hotel.
03 Day: Bangalore - Mysore (140 kms: 3 ½ hrs):
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Mysore. On arrival,
transfer to the hotel. Mysore, the capital city of the Wodeyars has always
enchanted its admirers with its quaint charm, rich heritage, magnificent
palaces, beautifully laid-out gardens, imposing buildings, broad shady
avenues and sacred temples. Later take a sight seeing tour of the city
visiting Maharaja Palace built in 1911-1912. The architecture of the palace
blends the Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and Gothic styles of architecture. Today
it is a museum housing treasures from across the world reflecting the
rich and colorful history of the erstwhile princely state of Mysore. In
the evening visit to the Brindavan gardens famous for its well planned
and well maintained lawns, innumerable pools, fountains. At night the
gardens are transformed into a kind of fairy land when the concealed lights
near the flower beds and fountains are turned on and add a new dimension
to the garden. Overnight at the hotel.
04 Day: Mysore - Ooty (170 kms: 4 hrs):
After breakfast drive up to Chamundi Hill to see Chamundeshwari temple
and a panoramic view of Mysore. Later drive to Ooty. Ooty is fondly known
as the 'Queen of Hill Stations', Ooty with its rolling lawns and salubrious
climate it became the important hill station in South India and the summer
capital of the former Madras presidency. In the evening visit to the Ooty
Lake where you can opt for boating. Overnight at the hotel.
05 Day: Ooty:
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Ooty visiting the Botanical
Garden a lush green well maintained lawns, rare tree species (like the
cork tree, the paper bark tree and the monkey puzzle tree - monkeys cannot
climb this tree), a 20 million year old fossilized tree, an Italian-style
garden bordering a clear pool, a vast variety of flowering bushes and
plants in myriad hues, fern house with a vast range of ferns and orchids,
are some of the many highlights of this garden. Besides these, there are
various view points like Lamb's Rock, Kodanadu and Dodabetta Peak
is the highest point in the district at a height of 2623 meters. Provided
the day is clear, one can see as far as the plains of Coimbatore and the
Mysore plateau. Overnight at the hotel.
06 Day: Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty (30 kms: 1 hr drive):
After breakfast drive to Coonoor, visiting Sim's Park, unusual botanical
garden famous for naturally occurring trees, shrubs and creepers, are
in the park as are many unusual species of plants that have been brought
in from a variety of places around the world., Dolphin's Nose, the Nose
is a unique rock of tremendous proportions which looks like a Dolphin
whereas you can also take a glimpse of the Catherine Falls from here.,
Lamb's Rock vantage point to view the fantastic landscape and the tea
and coffee plantations, Laws Falls a paradise for Nature lovers. If you
love trekking visit to The Droog, takes one into the past, with the ruins
of a fort, which was once used by Tipu Sultan in the 16th century. Later
drive back to Ooty for overnight stay.
Note: Optionally you can take a Toy Train ride from Ooty to Connor.
07 Day: Ooty - Cochin (Kochi) (300 kms: 8 hrs):
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Cochin (Kochi). On
arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the evening enjoy Kathakali Dance Presentation,
a traditional dance form of Kerala with Lavish Costumes, Exotic makeup,
Masks etc. This is considered to be the King of theater performances.
Overnight at the hotel.
08 Day: Cochin (Kochi):
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Cochin (Kochi): The Gateway
of South India. This lovely seaside city is flanked by the Western Ghats
on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. Cochin (Kochi) has been ruled
by the Dutch, British and the Portuguese. Hence you will find here a unique
mix and match of traditional as well Western architecture and lifestyle.
Sightseeing tour includes visit to Fort Cochin & St. Frances Church
to see the town of Vasco da Gama. We also see the Jewish Synagogue &
the Mattancherry "Dutch" Palace. Also famous in Cochin (Kochi)
are the Chinese fishing nets, which dominate part of the seafront and
attract tourists in large numbers, These nets suspended in the mid air
all along the coast and are set up on bamboo or teak poles giving an appearance
of huge hammock. If you wish you may opt from a variety boat trips offered
like Backwater Canal Tour, the sunset cruise, and so on. Rest of the evening
is free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
09 Day: Cochin (Kochi) - Munnar (130 kms: 3 hrs):
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Munnar. On arrival,
transfer to the hotel. This luxuriant gift of nature to the Western Ghats,
is derived from the three mountain streams; Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and
Kundala which join together in Munnar. Enjoy the tea estates, hills, lakes
and forests of Munnar. Visit to the Eravikulam National Park (15 km from
Munnar,) This sanctuary was set up for the preservation of the endangered
Nilgiri Tahr. The park also shelters Atlas Moth, Elephants, Sambhar's,
Gaurs, Lion-tailed Macaque, Nilgiri, Langur, Tigers and Leopards. The
park is breathtakingly beautiful and is easily comparable to the best
mountain ranges found anywhere in the world. After visit return to the
hotel for overnight stay.
10 Day: Munnar:
After breakfast you can opt to visit to Mattupetty (cattle village), the
Swiss Livestock Project is a highly specialized dairy farm where over
a hundred breeds of highly yielding cattle are reared. Visitors are allowed
into three of the eleven cattle sheds at the farm, followed by visit to
Pothamedu is one of the major plantation hubs of Munnar. The panoramic
view of greenish tea, coffee and cardamom plantation and the cloud kissing
mountain is exciting one. The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the
breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and Long Mountain walks.
Later visit at Devikulam (7 km from Munnar) is famous for its breath-taking
locales, scenic spots and for its unique flora and fauna. Right in the
heart of this landscape is Sita Devi Lake. The lake, with its picturesque
surroundings, mineral water, and trout-fishing and adventure sports facilities,
is a favorite tourist destination. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
11 Day: Munnar - Alleppey (190 kms: 4 hrs) Backwaters tours through
sailing boat to Alleppey:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to the jetty to embark
on the houseboat. The day for the journey of backwaters in the boat, through
the tropical countryside enchanting backwaters by regattas (snake boats)
for which Kerala is very famous, while sailing enjoy palm fringed narrow
canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny
hamlets lined up along either side of the canals are panoramic sights
one can ne ver forget. The Chinese fishing nets, the reminiscent of our
past trade links, are also found on the way. Flocks of duck swimming around
the banks and tiny birds flying across the sky remains as enduring pictures
reflecting the charm of this tourist land, you also enjoy fishing from
the houseboats, evening enjoy sunset from the sun-deck of the houseboats,
moving towards Alleppey. The Houseboats have generated electricity; sitting
cum dinning area, separate bedroom with attached English toilets, sun
deck and fully loaded kitchen with a Chef, and Srank (Driver). Overnight
at the houseboat.
12 Day: Alleppey - Periyar (114 kms: 2 ½ hrs):
After breakfast disembark from the houseboat and drive to Periyar. On
arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
one of India's biggest wildlife sanctuaries, which is an example of nature's
bounty, with great scenic charm, rich bio diversity and providing veritable
visitor satisfaction. Sprawled over an area of 777 sq .kms, the animals
found here include Elephant, Aur, Wild Pigs, Sambar, Barking Deer, Mouse
Deer, Dole or Indian Wild Dog and birds like Ibis and Grey Heron. A boat
ride through the waters of the man made Periyar Lake around which the
wild - life sanctuary is situated, offers a soul - stirring pleasant experience.
Periyar is the only sanctuary in India where you can enjoy wildlife viewing
at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the Lake. At Periyar you
can see, herds of elephants bathing and playing on the Periyar Lake. Later
in the evening take a spice plantation tour to see crops of cardamom,
cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. on your way back to the hotel,
you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight
at the hotel.
13 Day: Periyar - Madurai (140 Kms: 4 hrs):
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Madurai. On arrival
transfer to the hotel. After relaxation visit to Meenakshi Sundareshwar,
one of the largest temple complex in India built between the 16th and
18th centuries. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva (in the form of Sundareshwar
or Beautiful Lord) and his consort, Goddess Parvati (in the form of Meenakshi).
The temple forms the heart and lifeline of the 2500 year old city of Madurai.
The complex houses 14 magnificent Gopurams or towers including two golden
Gopurams for the main deities that are elaborately sculptured and painted.
Followed by visit to Gandhi Museum, Government Museum, Koodal Alagar Temple
and Vandiyur Mariamman Teepakulam where annual boat festival takes place.
Also visit the Tirumal Nayak's Palace, is a notable an architectural masterpiece.
Its enormous roofed arcade supported by 48 - foot high stone pillar, still
stands. Enjoy evening special aarti at the Meenakshi Temple. Overnight
at the hotel.
14 Day: Madurai - Trichy - Tanjore (158 kms: 3 hrs):
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Tanjore. Enroute
take a sightseeing tour of Trichy; visit most famous landmark of this
bustling town - the Rock Fort Temple, is a combination of two famous 7th
century Hindu temples, one dedicated to Lord Ganesh and the other dedicated
to Lord Shiva, located a top of a small rock, the Sri Ranganathanswami
Temple. This temple is one of the largest and most interesting temple
complexes in India, built on an island in the middle of the Cauvery River
and covering a staggering 2.5 sq km and Jambukeshwara - Mysore Temples.
After visit proceed to Tanjore. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
15 Day: Tanjore:
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Tanjore visiting Brihadeshwara
temple, the greatest architectural achievement of the Chola rulers. Built
by the Chola King Raja raja (985-1014), is dedicated to lord Shiva. This
temple is one of the monuments in India with World Heritage listing. Also
visit the Thanjavur Palace, is among many architectural marvels of the
Tanjore city. It is a massive structure with huge halls, wide corridors,
observation towers and a shady courtyard. Then visit Saraswati Mahal Library:
This library has one of the most important oriental manuscripts collections,
in India. Established around 1700 AD, the library contains a collection
of over 44,000 palm leaf, and paper manuscripts in Indian and European
languages. Overnight at the hotel.
16 Day: Tanjore - Pondicherry (170 kms: 4 hrs):
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Pondicherry. On
arrival transfer to the hotel. After breakfast you may visit to Auroville,
conceived as a 'Universal Town'. This is a place were people
with different nationalities; beliefs and culture live in harmony. Evening
is free at the Pondicherry Beach and to explore the French colonies. Overnight
at the hotel.
17 Day: Pondicherry:
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of the city. This attractive,
former French colony exudes a Mediterranean aura with its sophisticated
streets, elegant houses, ornamental gardens and the Hotel de Ville. Visit
Aurobindo Ashram, which has been a seat of learning and Vedic cultures
since ancient times. Eglise De Sacre Coeur De Jesus dedicated to the Sacred
Heart of Jesus, this church is noted for its gothic architecture and stained
glass panels which depict the entire life of Jesus Christ, Ecole Françoise
d'Extreme Orient, which is nearly 100 years old, with programs in
Sanskrit, Tamil and Archaeological studies. The Church of Our Lady of
Angels (1855), famous for an oil painting of Our Lady of Assumption given
to the Church by King Louis Napoleon III, and the 17th century Chapel
of Our Sisters of Cluny. Followed by visit to Pondicherry Museum, Anglo-French
Textile Mills, Mansion of Ananda Rangapillai: Built in 1773, this mansion
is a fine specimen of Indo-French architecture. Then visit Botanical Garden
it preserves a large variety of exotic species of plants from all over
India and abroad. Evening is free at the Pondicherry Beach. Overnight
at the hotel.
18 Day: Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram (135 kms: 3 hrs):
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Mahabalipuram. Later
take a sightseeing tour of the city. Mahabalipuram with its picturesque
location on a rocky outcrop between the beach and a lagoon is a happy
combination of history, good beaches, hassle-free tourism and fabulous
fish and lobster! It has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit the seven pagoda-style Shore temples, Rathas, Arjuna's Penance,
Krishna Mandapa, Shore Temple, Mahishasurmardini Cave, Varaha Mandapa
and Mandapams, lashed by the waves of the sea and the seven rathas or
temple chariots, a group of monolithic monuments & animal figures
carved out of solid rock, the earliest known examples of Dravidian architecture.
The rock carvings depicting mythological episodes - of demons, Gods and
animals in battle and others - are truly poems in stone. The only shore
temple which remains here is the spectacular two - spired shrine, unique
because it houses both Lord Shiva and the Lord Vishnu in its sanctum-sanctorum.

19 Day: Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Chennai (135 kms: 3
hrs):
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Chennai. Enroute
visit Kanchipuram known as one of India's Seven Sacred cities. Later explore
the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a 'City of a Thousand Temples'
and still has 124 shrines. The first temple dedicated to Shiva was built
in the 7th and 8th century and has paintings on the walls. Visit the most
famous temples: Kailasnathar, Vaikuntaperumal, Ekambareshwara, Kamakshiamma
and Sakiswarar. You may opt to visit the silk cloth markets, as Kanchipuram
is world famous for silk cloth and sarees, the traditional Indian costume
for the women. After visit proceed to Chennai for overnight stay.
20 Day: Chennai:
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Chennai. Chennai often referred
as the 'Gateway to South India' is also a place of historic importance.
It is a pulsating city, ever changing and ever expanding. The city is
probably the most peaceful and green metropolis of India. It was once
a group of small villages until the appearance of East India Company to
set up a new trade centre in the place. It is spread over 50 miles and
features a large and beautiful waterfront on the Bay of Bengal. Later
take a sightseeing tour of Chennai visiting The St. George Fort, built
in 1653, is currently used as the state government's secretariat;
Santhome Cathedral was built around 14th - 15th centuries and is another
colonial structure worth visiting, the Kapaleeswara Temple dedicated to
Lord Shiva is the oldest temple in Chennai. Then visit Parthasarthy Temple
which is an 8th century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.
Evening optionally you can visit Marina Beach, the second longest beach
in the world. Watching sunset from here is a fascinating experience. Overnight
at the hotel.
21 Day: Chennai - Onwards Journey (BY Air):
After breakfast,
