Nights / 23 Days
01 Day: Arrival Guwahati:
Meeting and assistance on arrival at the airport, our representative welcomes and escorts you by a private car and transfer to the hotel, whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative would hand over the documents and brief the tour programme to you. In the evening, visit to mighty Brahmaputra river side for Sunset photography. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
02 Day: Guwahati – Eco Camp (220 kms: 5 hrs):
Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Eco – Camp near the Assam Arunachal Pradesh border. Evening walk on the banks of river Bhorelli that flows near to your camp; you can get the best scenic photography here. (Eco camp has comfortable double bedded tents with a thatched roof canopy). Come back to the camp at dusk for overnight stay.
Optionally you may drive to Bhalukpong, 240 kms from Guwahati; a small hill station lies 213 m above the sea level on the banks of the Kameng River and borders along the dense forests that form the periphery of the Pakhui Game Sanctuary. Bomdila it has its own special charm too and gives a beautiful photography.
03 Day: Eco Camp – Dirang (180 kms: 7 hrs):
After breakfast, check out from the camp and transfer to Dirang. On arrival, check into the Hotel. Our drive to Dirang will be through high mountain terrains which forms the eastern Himalayas offering panoramic view. Evening visit the Dirang Dzong town and local market. Overnight in Dirang.
04 Day: Dirang – Sela Pass – Tawang (145 kms: 5 hrs):
After breakfast go for a visit to Hot Water Spring in Dirang. Later check out of the hotel and drive to Tawang. On the way cross Sela pass It is a narrow pass in the mountainous regions of Arunachal Pradesh, at an elevation of 13700 ft above mean sea level and it signals our entry into the Tawang valley. After visit continue to drive to Tawang. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later evening is free to explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel in Tawang.
05 Day: Tawang:
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Tawang. Tawang Monastery (more than 350 years old founded by the Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in 1681 in accordance to the wishes of the 5th Dalai Lama, Nagwang Lobsang Gyatso, and has an interesting legend surrounding its name, which means "Chosen by Horse". Interact with the resident lamas (monks). After lunch visit the local Mompa tribal Village. Later return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
06 Day: Tawang – Bomdila (180 kms: 5 hrs) :
After breakfast, transfer to Bomdila today; located at an altitude of 8000 ft. Check into hotel on arrival. Time permitting sightseeing of Bomdila town includes visit to Gompas (monastery) and market. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
07 Day: Bomdila – Itanagar (280 kms: 7 hrs):
Today after breakfast we check out form the hotel and then drive to Itanagar. On arrival check into hotel. Evening time permitting visit local market. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Itanagar.
08 Day: Itanagar – Ziro (200 kms: 5 hrs):
Drive to Ziro, Enroute visit Nyishi villages on the way. On arrival, check into hotel. In the evening, visit the local markets for shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
09 Day: Ziro:
After breakfast, start the sightseeing and photography tour by visiting APATANI villages. Ziro is one of the most traditional areas in Arunachal Pradesh. Overnight in Ziro.
10 Day: Ziro – Daporijo (160 kms: 7 hrs):
After breakfast, check out and drive to Daporijo. On arrival, visit the Hillmiri and Tagin tribes’ villages. These are the main tribes of this area. We will be spending the night in a typical Hillmiri tribal village. Overnight at Village Guest House.
11 Day: Daporijo – Along (165 kms: 6 hrs):
After breakfast, drive to Along. On the way, visit ‘Gallong’ villages. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for relaxation. In the evening visit the local markets. Overnight in Along.
12 Day: Along:
After breakfast, take your whole day will be in Along, visiting villages of the Adi Gallo. Take a walk from Kabu village to Paya village – a very scenic walk along the River Siang. Picnic lunch on the river bank. Overnight at the hotel.
13 Day: Along – Dibrugarh (190 km: 6 hrs + 45 min by ferry ride)
After Morning breakfast, depart for Dibrugarh in Assam. Visit more beautiful villages along the way. Today we will take a ferry across the mighty Brahmaputra River to reach Dibrugarh. Dibrugarh is known as the tea capital of Assam because of the numerous tea estates that surrounds this town. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later if time permits, visit the local market. Overnight in Dibrugarh.
14 Day: Dibrugarh – Mon (180 kms: 6 hrs):
Morning transfer from Dibrugarh to Mon. The drive to Mon in Nagaland will be through lush green valley of the tea estates of Assam. Enroute visit the ancient monuments of the Ahom kingdom. This district is inhabited by the Konyak tribe with a sizable number of AO Nagas. ‘Konyak’ are seen by everyone as the most backward of the sixteen Naga tribes. This on the other hand can also be perceived as the most traditional of the tribes. They have given up their head-hunting ways, but still lives in a very traditional lifestyle. Konyak are adept artisan and skilled craftsman; here you can find excellent woodcarving, doas (machete) guns, gunpowder, head brushes necklace etc. On arrival, check into hotel on arrival. Overnight in Mon.
15 Day: Mon – Longwa – Mon (Excursion 40 kms: 2 hrs one way):
After a leisure breakfast, commence an excursion to Longwa village perched dominantly on a ridge between India and Myanmar. Later visit the Mon villages. Return to Mon by late afternoon. Overnight in Mon.
16 Day: Mon – Tuensang (170 kms: 6 hrs):
Today morning check out from the hotel and drive to Tuensang which is the homeland of Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungans, Sangtam and Phoms Nagas. Enroute visit more villages of the upper Konyak tribes. On arrival, check into Govt. Guest House. Overnight in Tuensang.
17 Day: Tuensang – Noklak (80 kms: 3 hrs):
Morning after breakfast, drive on to Noklak - the administrative capital of the Khiamungans Nagas. On arrival, check into the circuit house. Later if time permits, we will visit Noklak old village. Overnight in Noklak.
18 Day: Noklak – Day trip to Pangsha:
After a healthy breakfast, drive to Pangsha, one of the oldest villages of the Khiamungan tribe. Located on the slope of the hills, it has a commanding view of the neighbouring areas. Walk through the village and see the way of life, interact with the people. Pangsha is the last village on the Indian side of the border. From here we will drive up to a place called Dan, this is a small place which has been set up to promote the trading between the people from across the border. Meet and interact with the people settled in this place. After visit drive back to Noklak. Overnight in Noklak.
19 Day: Noklak – Tuensang:
Morning after breakfast visit one or more village in the neighbouring place then drive back to Tuensang. On arrival, check into the circuit house. After relaxation, visit the old Tuensang village of the Chang Tribes. Overnight in Tuensang.
20 Day: Tuensang – Mokokchung (120 kms: 4½ hrs):
After breakfast drive to Mokokchung. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. The location of this village, high on a hill, is its best feature. Each house in the village looks out on to an unending lush chain of hills, which change colour with the rising sun. The tourist lodge, while situated away from the village, is perfectly positioned to receive the evening sunlight. Time permitting we will visit the AO village of Ungma or Mopunchuket. Overnight in Mokokchung.
21 Day: Mokokchung – Touphema Bawe – Kohima (160 kms: 6 hrs):
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kohima. Enroute visit the old village of Touphema Bawe villages of the Angami Naga. The small and pleasant town of Kohima is surrounded by hills dotted with villages and is situated at an altitude of 5,000 feet. Upon arrival check-into the hotel. Overnight in Kohima.
22 Day: Kohima – Khonoma – Kohima (20 kms: 1 hr):
After breakfast visits the local market and then drive to Khonoma village (20 kms/1 hr) a place which is renowned for its valour and courage. The Khonoma gate tells the story of British infiltration into Naga Hills. Explore and interact with the villagers. Drive back to Kohima for lunch and visit the state museum (closed on Mondays and govt. holidays) and the famous war cemetery, a symbolic memorial raised as citation for the supreme sacrifice made by the officers and men of the Allied forces during World War II. Return back to Kohima after visit. Overnight at in Kohima.
23 Day: Kohima – Dimapur (74 kms: 2 hrs) – Hometown (By Air):
AAfter breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Dimapur. On arrival, transfer to the airport to board the schedule flight for Kolkata. On arrival, board the connecting flight for hometown. On departure tour concludes on happy memories.

Entry Formalities for Arunachal Pradesh:
Please note that all foreign nationals need Restricted Area Permit (RAP) to visit Arunachal Pradesh. The Government stipulates the number of tourists to minimum 2 in a group to apply for RAP. The Govt. charges USD 50 per person for a 30 days permit. Please note that for Arunachal Pradesh RAP, less than 1 person can also apply if the total fees of 2 persons (USD 50 X 2 = USD 100) is paid by the client.
The following documents are required for the permit and we need at least 15 - 20 working days to process the same after we receive these documents:
1) Copy of valid passport & Visa
2) 4 passport size photographs
3) Duly filled RAP application form (provided by us upon confirmation of the tour)

- In case of non-availability of the above hotels similar category of hotels will be provided.
- There are no luxury/ star hotels in Arunachal, Nagaland Sector. So we have suggested you the best possible hotel/ guesthouse/ lodge in that area.
- Child over 6 years with extra bed in parents room with breakfast (directly payable to the hotel on actual basis)
- Any additional visit to any sightseeing places, food, entry fees or any other services will be on extra cost.
- 5 Star Deluxe luxury hotels package can be worked out according to the date of travel and destinations.

We maintain the rights to alter the itinerary since tours are made in advance and unforeseen circumstances that mandate change may arise.
